You guys, its AUGUST! When did that happen!

I passed my state boards and I am now a REGISTERED NURSE!! WOOHOOO!!

My boss also hired me on as a nurse on the unit I worked on before, so I have been busy at orientation and adjusting to my new job! It's been an exciting and scary month!

Noah and I also picked our wedding date and venue! Like I said, we've been busy!

I dont know about you, but I am antsy for fall to get here!  I've even got my Pumpkin Caramel Latte Candle going! 

I'm also ready for fall fashion to get here and the September Issues to come out! Every time I go to the store I'm looking to see what's out! (obsessed much?) There are so many looks I'm so excited to try. I recently went shopping over the weekend to grab a few fall essentials and I have a post coming soon to show what I got.

Lots of maroon, olive, and maxi/midi skirts. I looking forward to experimenting with a more polished look mixed with some adrogenous pieces.

I DID IT!!

IM DONE WITH NURSING SCHOOL!!!

This is such an amazing feeling!! 

Part of me still cant believe that it's done! That I still have to go back to school in a few days! I dont know what I am going to do with myself!

I still have to prepare and study for state boards so that I can be a licensed with the state (that the big thing that matters).

I also have a million things to clean and organize and DO that I have been putting off for the last year and a half! PLUS I still have a wedding to plan!

Plus I have time to blog again! I'm so excited about this! There are so many happy things to come!

Best Friends Wedding

 

Back in January , my best friend got married! They had an adorable little ceremony in Galveston and the reception was filled with vintage details. It was perfect.

I have three weeks left of nursing school!

This has been an insane year and a half! 

I cant believe I am almost done!

This girl is more than ready to be done with school!

In happy news:

Last night Noah (Mr Fiance) got me an early graduation present and took me to Darren Criss' Houston concert!! For those of you who didnt know, Im an insanely huge Glee fan. Waaayyy more than I should be. But I am loud and proud, I LOVE GLEEEEEEE!!

Darren gave an AMAZING show. He has such an incredible energy on stage. I am so lucky I got to go. He primarily did new music and a few older solo songs, and some music from StarKid. For an encore performance he sang the acoustic version of Teenage Dream from Glee, which is my favorite song ever. I died. 

Sidenote- Noah and I were probably some of the oldest people there by a few years. Lots of high school kids. It was great.

After the show we decided to hang out by the tour bus to see if we could catch a glimpse of Mr Criss. That turned into two hours... BUT WE SAW HIM! Darren was the sweetest guy and said hi to everyone who was waiting!

We werent allowed to take a picture with him, since he was just signing stuff, but I tried to grab some of him walking by. If you look close you can see half of my face in this picture:

So, funny story, I got super nervous and didnt know what to say, so I blurted out "Your amazing and I love you" then I realized Noah was standing beside me and added "but I love this guy more since we are enaged" and Darren said "WOW Congratulations that amazing whens the big day?" (In my head Im thinking why the hell did I just say that to the celebrity that I have the BIGGEST crush on!!) and Darren stood and talked with us for a few minutes and shook Noah's hand. It was pretty magical!

I have three weeks of school left you guys! Stick around, you are about to start seeing a lot more of me!

GUESS WHO GOT ENGAGED!!

 

This is what I woke up to on the morning of my birthday! which just happens to be on Christmas Eve! It was the most amazing surprise that I could have ever imagined! I woke up to a surprise breakfast followed by opening my gift under the mistletoe. Inside the big box was the little ring box!

 

 

 

It was the most amazing birthday ever!! Ignore the horrible pajamas and bedhead. Even though its been a few months, Im still so excited about it! Because Ive been so busy with nursing school, we are going to have a long engagement and get married in a year and a half! Im so excited!

Happy Belated Birthday

 

Although this is months behind, I am finally getting a tiny bit of time to upload pictures. The last few months have been a complete worldwind. The holidays, I went to Panama (!!!), and experienced some really horrible family experiences. So, I choose to focus on the good, like sharing these adorable birthday pictures, share happy news and eventually share my Panama pictures. Im almost done with nursing school, only 4 more months for me!

Basketball Diaries

 

Awhile back my dad took me and my sister and our signigicant others out to a Rockets basketball game. Its not too often that we are all able to get together, so it was nice to all be together.
