School Starts in One Week...

School starts in ONE WEEK from today. My holiday break will officially be over, and it will begin year full of school for me. Meaning that for an entire year (until next winter break) I will not have more than one week off from school at a time.... no summer for me... Thats what I get for being in a accelerated nursing program. But thinking positively, I graduate in 18 months and that means Im 18 months closer to the rest of my life. Closer to moving out and getting married and babies. So I guess that makes it worth it. :)

On the day of my birth (December 24), we went to lunch at the amazing cajun resturant, Floyds. best.ever.

At night we went to my grandmas to celebrate Christmas.

Happy Birthday to Me Part Two

 On the night before my birthday,  me and two of my best friends, K and S, and Boyfriend and Little Sister M went out to celebrate my birthday. I chose an awesome Sushi hibachi grill on the boardwalk. Have you ever been to Hibachi? Its AMAZING! I love all of the tricks the chef does and Asian food is my favorite! After dinner we hit up a local pub and I tasted my first raspberry beer. (its very very sweet!) And my new glasses made an appearance! My old ones were 6 years old and in much need of updating with school starting soon.

Outfit wise - I found a red suede dress at Value Village awhile back and immediately thought of Princess Kate (or just THE Princess as I refer to her in conversation). For the past year now Princess has been a HUGE fashion influence, and I upon seeing this dress I knew it was perfect for a chance to try and copyKate. Even though this dress was thrifted it surprisingly fit perfect like a glove! I've never been so happy with a thrited perchase. Thinking of Kate I wore sheer hose (also because it was freezing outside!) and nude pumps (but mine had sparkle!) I added a little bit of me to the outfit with a long detailed necklace and a leather bomber jacket.

New Glasses!

Goodbye 2011

 Hello my lovlies. This week has been a bit crazy with work. and unfortunately its wear I will be spending my New Years.  What a crazy year 2011 has been! For one, this little bloggy has been wonderful! Its given me an amazing outlet for my creativity and a place for me to grow. I've LOVED getting to know all of you and explore the blogging community. Its been so wonderful to me!

2011 was the year that:
1. My long distance relationship turned into a live-5-minutes-down-the-street-relationship
2. I saw the Canadian border
3. Drove aross 7 states in two days
4. Saw Niagara Falls
5. Saw Boyfriend graduate
6. GOT ACCEPTED INTO NURSING SCHOOL
7. Got a new car (pictures to come!)
8. learned Spanish
9. Visited Graceland
10. Went to the Andy Warhol's grave

Its been an AMAZING year and I cannot wait to see where 2012 takes me and where it will take this little blog. I hope that you will continue to visit, even though my posts may not come as often, and see where nursing school takes me!

Family Party

Our family birthday party for me and my twiny was last week. It was a small affair, with Italian food, cake and lots of chitchat. The perfect birthday party combination.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Hello kids! I misssseeedddd you!

As you know life happens and blogging isnt always a priority.

I went to Nursing School Orientation!! (I love my school!!)

and I'll have my work cut out for me in January.

I've worked quite a bit and was sick for awhile. And I've been spending lots of time with Boyfriend.
