This is rounding out one of my last winter posts. As usual, I'm behind, and our Texas weather has been flip-floppy lately.

School started up for me again, I am now passed off on giving medications! Wooohooooo! 

School is kinda kicking my butt at the moment. 

But I keep telling myself its only a year and a half!

Date Night

I had off last Saturday night, which is a rarity for me and boyfriend. So we decided to make the most of it and have a date night. We went to one of our favorite resturants, Chuys (best sangrias ever!) and then came home and watched SNL and cuddle on the couch. Fantastic date night if I do say so myself. I dont know about you, but Im tired of this cold weather business. Im ready for spring, and florals, and neon. for some reason I'm really really excited for neon. In fact, I've even bought severa neon pieces lately. What do you think of the trend??

White

The other day I wore I mens white button down shirt. Tied the ends together. Lets be honest, I felt like a bad ass. I must do this more often.

What outfits do you feel like a bad ass in?

Also, I've developed a bad habit of going to Sonic everyday between 2 and 4pm for Happy Hour. its bad. I will leave my house, just to drive down the street to get a large diet coke. who does this. I do.

Ryan Gosling

I really have the best of friends.
I printed out some notes at work for school. and left it on a desk. Later, my friend Tiff brought it to me and told me I had forgotten it. Days later when I was in class studying last minute for a test, I saw this on the last page of my notes. It was the perfect thing to calm me down for my test. I really have the best of friends.

My Car

Im not sure if I ever mentioned it, but.... I got a new car back in December. I must have been preoccupied with nursing school, and Im not sure how I forget to tell yall, but it happened. I had to say a tear goodbye to my 2001 VW Beetle, whom I named Andre (after Season 2 contestant on Project Runway of course).  We had been through a lot together, but it was falling apart, broke down on busy highways, ate up gas, and wouldnt go over 50. So, once I found out I got into nursing school, me and my dad sat down and had a serious talk about the unreliability of my car. and we agreed to get a new one so I could have something dependable for school (I drive 45 minutes to school ever day).
and this is what we came up with. A 2012 Honda Civic. I love it! its my baby! It has ECON and get fantastic gas milage. Im in love with it. I named it Daisy.

Juice Land

As we all know, i went on a road trip to Austin, Tx a few weeks back, and I had to make the mandatory pit stop at my favorite place ever. JuiceLand. Its a juice/smoothie shop made with all natural products. no added sugars or sherbet like with Jamba Juice. They put all sorts of interesting things in it like Phyloplankton and hemp seed and coconut water and oils. Some would argue that some flavors are an aquired taste, but I LOVE them. They give me tons of energy and make me feel like a super hero!

Sadly, I dont know of any places like this in Houston, and once I get more time on my hands, Im totally going to hunt it down. Untill then Ill be dreaming of my next visit.

PS. I made Noah drive  the whoooolllleee way to Austin, (its only a 3 hour drive) and apparently he wasnt too happy about it

Nursing School

So today finished my first nursing class!! They are 8 week classes. I made a B! Im happy! Ready to move on to the next class!

But for now Im ready to enjoy my Spring Break!!

So, I downloaded a new app for my Android phone called Camera ZOOM plus. Its kind of amazing. Android doesnt have Instagram, so I feel left out when it comes to taking photos with my phone. But this app definately makes me feel like cool kid. Thank you fake Instagram.
